The 2018 version of Daily Dose Day (and likely our last) is now over. You can still get all previous doses.

Our current total at 3PM May 7 is $1500!

We are continuing to take donations. If you’ve enjoyed the day, or appreciated Bruuuce.com over the last twenty years(!) of operation, now would be a fantastic time to please think about a donation to either of our nominated charities. Any amount would be really appreciated.

  • A stunning show from Grand Rapids, MI in July 2017 from Bruce’s collection.
  • Kate Mossman from the New Statesman wrote for us about her first interview and article about Bruce.
  • We looked at Sean Smith’s photography here – Bruce’s photographer with an incredible eye.
  • Several contests and giveaways – our winners have now been notified..

We’re here all day… check what you can hear and when (assuming all goes to plan…!)

Bruce Hornsby cover project – “Postcards from Tossington”

It’s been four years in the making and we we finally released it on May 6… twenty covers of Bruce Hornsby’s songs, entitled “Postcards from Tossington”. Just as with everything else on Daily Dose Day, it’s free… but donations to our causes are really appreciated if you like what you hear.

David Day was a well-known part of the Bruuuce scene, often arranging meet-ups at the Biltmore and around Carolina. He was a major sponsor of these fundraising events and a great promoter for us. We greatly miss David’s spirit and hope that today is a fitting remembrance of him.

Rich Diakun coined the name of this event – it was his idea to publish a “Daily Dose” of live music for download. He was a frequent contributor to our cover projects and Bruce was a big fan of his work. We miss his wit and insight, but we’re thrilled to include him on Postcards from Tossington.
