A set from the Furthur Festival tour from 1996.
This show was part of the touring Furthur Festival organised shortly after the passing of Jerry Garcia. Bruce and the band joined for the summers of 1996 and ’97.
This particular set features a twelve minute plus version on On the Western Skyline, including Drunken Hiccups, Don’t Do It and a great J.V. Collier solo. Talk of the Town gets the same treatment, extended over ten minutes and featuring the poetry of Artis the Spoonman.
Listen out for I Shall Be Released on accordion also.
